Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Lands Oct. 20 on Netflix

Screen Rant reports that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, the sequel to Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red's 2022 anime, will premiere on Netflix on October 20, 2026. All 10 episodes drop simultaneously.

The first season earned a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and was named Crunchyroll's Anime of the Year. It followed David Martínez in Night City, serving as a prequel to the Cyberpunk 2077 game.

The new season shifts focus. Writer-producer Bartosz Sztybor told Animation Magazine, per Screen Rant, that it uses a Pulp Fiction approach with multiple interconnected characters instead of a single perspective. It stays dark, exploring regret and the price of winning.
