Josh Goldstine returns to run Skydance film marketing and distribution
The veteran marketing exec, who led the 'Barbie' campaign at Warner Bros., will oversee all releases for Skydance's film labels across Paramount and Warner Bros.

Skydance is bringing back Josh Goldstine to run marketing and distribution across its film labels at Paramount and Warner Bros., TheWrap reported.
Goldstine was ousted from Warner Bros. in January 2025 by then film chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy. He had spent four years there, most notably running the marketing campaign for "Barbie," the studio's highest-grossing film ever.
Now he's back at Warner Bros. by way of Skydance. The company has pledged to release at least 30 films a year, which is more than any major studio does today. Goldstine's job is to make those campaigns work.
He'll have help. Warner Bros.' pre-existing distribution chief Jeff Goldstein and marketing execs Dana Nussbaum, Christian Davin and John Stanford will stay at Skydance and report to Goldstine, per TheWrap.
Also staying: the projects De Luca and Abdy greenlit before leaving. The 2027 slate includes "Superman" sequel "Man of Tomorrow," Legendary's "Godzilla x Kong: Supernova," "A Minecraft Movie Squared," J.J. Abrams film "The Great Beyond," Nancy Meyers romcom "Paris Paramount," and animated musical "Bad Fairies."
The promotion was first reported by Variety.
