Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day Hits Peacock This Week
The sci-fi thriller starring Emily Blunt arrives on streaming October 9 after a mixed theatrical run.

Steven Spielberg's sci-fi thriller "Disclosure Day" arrives on Peacock starting Thursday, October 9. Collider reports the film stars Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor and Colin Firth.
The movie opened in theaters earlier this year to mixed reviews. It grossed just under $250 million worldwide against a reported $115 million budget, with $116 million from domestic markets and $127 million overseas, per Collider. That's far short of the $800 million global haul of Spielberg's classic "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," which cost $10.5 million in 1982.
Collider notes that "Disclosure Day" is "far from the genius" of "E.T." but says the film "does feature plenty to enjoy."
The arrival of "Disclosure Day" on streaming comes weeks before a more anticipated sci-fi release: Denis Villeneuve's "Dune: Part Three" hits theaters December 18. That film stars Timothée Chalamet, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Florence Pugh and Jason Momoa.
