The Love Hypothesis Cast Faces Romcom Scenarios

Screen Rant puts the cast of The Love Hypothesis to the test with classic rom-com what-would-you-do scenarios.

The Love Hypothesis cast is taking the rom-com quiz. Screen Rant sat them down for a quick round of hypotheticals, asking what each actor would do if dropped into a classic movie situation.

Rachel Marsh faced the question of whether she would succeed like Ariana Grande in Fockers in Law. Grande's character in that film, a lawyer, wins her case and gets the guy. Marsh, who plays a scientist in The Love Hypothesis, didn't say if she'd go the courtroom route.

Jaboukie Young-White was asked if he'd put up with a You've Got Male situation. That's the one where a person falls for someone they've only met online, only to find out it's someone they know in person. Young-White played it cool, not saying whether he'd stick it out.

Nicholas Duvernay got the Empire State Building question. Could he make it to the top, like in An Affair to Remember or Sleepless in Seattle? Both movies end with a big meeting at the top of the building. Duvernay didn't give a clear yes or no.

The interview follows Lili Reinhart's method-dressing ways. Reinhart, who stars in the film, has been dressing like her character, a physics professor, during the press tour. The cast is clearly in on the joke, playing along with the quick-fire questions.

The Love Hypothesis is an upcoming romantic comedy based on the novel by Ali Hazelwood. It centers on a Ph.D. candidate who fake-dates a professor, and things get complicated when feelings get real. The cast is out promoting the film, which is set to hit theaters soon.

For now, the world may never know if Nicholas Duvernay would make it to the top of the Empire State Building. But the interview is a fun peek into how the cast thinks about the genre they're now a part of.
