The Prestige Returns to Theaters in 2027
Christopher Nolan's 2006 thriller will get a limited theatrical re-release, Collider reports.

Collider reports that The Prestige, Christopher Nolan's 2006 sci-fi mystery, is coming back to theaters for a limited run in January 2027. The film follows rival magicians Robert Angier and Alfred Borden, played by Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, whose competition turns deadly.
The ensemble also includes Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall, Piper Perabo, David Bowie and Andy Serkis. Based on Christopher Priest's novel, the story builds toward a twist ending that rewards repeat viewings.
The Prestige holds a 77% critics score and a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Many fans consider it one of Nolan's finest films, even though it wasn't a box office smash when it first released.
"The film is a treat for audiences who already know its secrets, because rewatch reveals clues hiding in plain sight," Collider notes.
For those who missed it the first time, this re-release offers a chance to see the sleight of hand on a big screen. The limited run begins in January 2027.
