Collider has ranked every live-action Spider-Man suit to appear on screen, from Sam Raimi's original trilogy through the current Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

At the bottom of the list are suits that Collider calls bland or lacking identity. The Vigilante suit from The Amazing Spider-Man is singled out as the worst: a hoodie and red mask with nothing that says Spider-Man. The Night Monkey costume from Spider-Man: Far From Home also ranks low, described as an all-black S.H.I.E.L.D. outfit with Spidey lenses attached.

The Iron Spider suit from Avengers: Infinity War gets a rough review too. Collider says the MCU version is over-designed and ugly, and notes that nobody was sad when it was destroyed in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In the middle of the pack sits the Inverted Suit from No Way Home, a black-and-gold costume that Collider calls not necessary to the plot and feels like an excuse for a toy. The Stark Suit from Captain America: Civil War is praised for its bright red and blue comic-book colors but criticized for over-designed black stripes and heavy CGI.

The Amazing Spider-Man's main suit is called underrated: it fits the film's darker tone with smaller yellow lenses and darker colors while remaining clearly Spider-Man. The Sweatsuit from Homecoming earns the title of best homemade suit, with expressive moving eyes and a practical look.

At the top of Collider's ranking is the Upgraded Suit from Far From Home, a red-and-black design with a white spider emblem on the back that stands out from any previous movie suit. Close behind is the Integrated Suit from No Way Home, which combines nanotech armor into a single gold spider logo on the chest—a look Collider says works surprisingly well.

The Raimi Wrestling Suit from the first Spider-Man movie is also highlighted as a perfect predecessor to the classic suit, with a spray-painted spider symbol and undeniable charm.
