Karoline Leavitt Joins Fox News as Contributor
The youngest White House press secretary in history will start providing commentary and analysis on Nov. 1.

Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is joining Fox News as a contributor, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Leavitt begins her role on Nov. 1, offering commentary and analysis across Fox News platforms. She stepped down as press secretary in August. President Trump said at the time that Leavitt was leaving to spend more time with family but would remain an outside adviser. She had served in the White House role since January 2025, at the start of Trump's second term.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott welcomed Leavitt in a statement. "Karoline's firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today's political landscape," Scott said. "We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms."
Leavitt called the opportunity a continuation of her work. "I am grateful for the opportunity to continue appearing on FOX News Channel as an official member of the extraordinary team at FOX News Media," she said in a statement. "I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House Press Secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure."
At 27 when she took the role, Leavitt became the youngest White House press secretary in American history. Before that, she served as national press secretary for Trump's 2024 campaign. She also ran as a Republican candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's 1st District in 2022 and served as communications director for then-House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik. During Trump's first term, Leavitt worked as a presidential writer and assistant press secretary.
Leavitt graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2019 with a degree in politics and communication.
