A West Coast edition of the mental health benefit show This is Crazy! is set for Oct. 13, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Marisa Tomei, Rob Morrow, Rosanna Arquette, Rudy Pankow and Lois Smith are among the cast for the one-night-only performance at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

The show, written by V (the Tony-winning playwright formerly known as Eve Ensler), explores themes of mental illness, family, survival and the “complexity of the human experience,” per the outlet.

A New York production last September featured Jane Fonda, Edie Falco, Mark Ruffalo and Lois Smith and raised nearly $500,000 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The benefit honors Chris Huvane, a talent manager who died by suicide. He was open about his struggles with depression.

“Chris was adored by all who had the honor of knowing him. He was outspoken about living with and battling depression for years before he died by suicide. His experience taught us the importance of providing help and support for people and families affected by mental illness,” said Ruth-Ann Huvane, a mental health advocate, NAMI national board member and producer of the show, alongside Tony Montenieri of Lotus Productions.

NAMI CEO Daniel H. Gillison Jr. said the organization is “deeply grateful” and noted that “storytelling can open conversations, challenge stigma, and help people feel less alone.” The performance was originated by CAA’s Community & Impact in memory of Huvane. All proceeds benefit NAMI.
