Power Rangers x Ninja Kidz streams free on YouTube
The new live-action series produced for the Re-Ignition toy line is available now, and Screen Rant says it's better than a toy promo has any right to be.

The only new live-action Power Rangers show of 2026 has arrived, and it's streaming free on YouTube. Screen Rant reports that the series, Power Rangers x Ninja Kidz, was made with Playmates to promote the Re-Ignition toy line.
But according to Screen Rant, it's not just a commercial. The show creates its own timeline where Lord Zedd has already won. The surviving Rangers flee to another planet and meet a younger version of a character from Power Rangers Dino Fury. Back on Earth, Tommy Oliver appears as a new character called the Dragon, a lone hero fighting Zedd's rule.
Screen Rant praises the show for understanding why the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers worked: bright costumes, giant robots, and martial arts. The Ranger suits get an upgrade with extra armor but keep the classic colors and dinosaur themes. Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and Goldar all appear with new looks.
The series also reinvents minor characters. Bulk, once mostly comic relief, becomes a genuinely useful ally.
Screen Rant notes that this YouTube series arrives at a strange time for the franchise. Disney+ spent a year and a half developing a Power Rangers reboot with the showrunners of Percy Jackson, then shelved it. No other live-action Power Rangers series has been announced.
Screen Rant concludes that while the show isn't a full revival, it's a surprisingly ambitious project for what could have been a simple toy ad. All episodes are free on YouTube.
