Prime Big Deal Days 2026: Best gaming deals highlighted

Screen Rant breaks down the top discounts on games and accessories during Amazon's fall sale.

Screen Rant reports that Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days 2026 is offering discounts across gaming, from rare Nintendo price drops to peripherals. The sale runs now, and while Black Friday may bring better deals, these prices are the best Amazon has offered so far for many items.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

The biggest standout is Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Screen Rant notes that the physical version for the original Switch is $39.99 ($20 off), while the Switch 2 version is also $39.99 ($30 off). The Switch 2 deal limits customers to 31% claimed at time of writing, so it may sell out.

Final Fantasy and Square Enix RPGs

Several role-playing games from Square Enix are heavily discounted. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is $19.99 on PlayStation 5 and $24.99 on Switch 2, according to Screen Rant. The PS5 version was out of print, making the deal better than resale prices from a couple of years ago. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is $16.99 on PS5 and $34.99 on Switch 2. Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles and the Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes are also on sale.

Sports games

EA Sports Madden NFL 27 and EA Sports College Football 27 are both $42.99 on all platforms. Screen Rant says this is a $7 drop from the previous low in October. Yearly sports games drop in value, but this is the best price yet for this football season.

Other gaming highlights

Screen Rant lists additional deals:

  • Multiple titles across PS5, Switch, and Switch 2 (check Amazon for specifics)
  • Discounts on keyboards and headsets with significant savings
  • Best Buy's Techtober sale offers a larger selection of games, though missing some of Amazon's biggest discounts

Screen Rant warns that deals like the Switch 2 version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A may not return on Black Friday, so interested buyers should act now.

The sale focuses heavily on Square Enix RPGs and peripherals. For those in the market for a deep dive on new gear, Screen Rant recommends comparing options from Amazon and Best Buy.
