Reacher season 6: Six Lee Child books to adapt next
Screen Rant suggests six Lee Child novels that could keep Prime Video's Reacher rolling after season 5.

Prime Video has already renewed Reacher for season 6, Screen Rant reports. The pick-up arrives while season 5 is still in early production, which the outlet reads as a sign of the show's steady success on the streamer.
Reacher has made its way through Lee Child's books one per season, and season 5 is currently adapting Make Me. For season 6, Screen Rant suggests six novels that could keep the series' momentum going.
A prequel detour
The Enemy would break with the show's forward-moving timeline. It takes place in 1990, with Reacher as a Major in the Military Police who ends up in a conspiracy that pits him against high-ranking officers. Screen Rant says this could show Reacher operating within the military's limits before his drift through small-town America.
Night School also works as a 1990s prequel, only as more of an international spy story. Screen Rant describes it as having a 'Bosch meets Jack Ryan' feel, with a cast of high-profile characters around Reacher.
Neagley's next chapter
Without Fail ties into the Neagley spinoff. In the book, Reacher asks Neagley to help him review how the Secret Service protects Vice President-elect Brook Armstrong. Their relationship deepens when Neagley breaks her no-touch rule and hugs Reacher.
Reacher on the wrong side
The Visitor, known as Running Blind in the U.S., flips the setup: Reacher becomes the main suspect in a case where female soldiers are killed with no evidence left behind. Screen Rant calls it a personal, grounded hunt that would give Reacher's deductive skills more room.
Fan favorites from early and late
Die Trying, the second Lee Child novel, still scores 4.1 out of 5 on Goodreads from more than 100,000 ratings. It drops Reacher into a cornered situation with terrifying villains, a formula the series has used well before.
61 Hours starts with Reacher in a small town and then pushes him into a confrontation with a local biker gang. Screen Rant singles it out for its action and for testing Reacher near his limits. It also has a direct sequel, Worth Dying For, which Screen Rant says could give seasons 6 and 7 a rare continuous story.
