The Beast Exclusive Clip: Jackson and Kinnaman in Action
Collider shares a first look at the 99-minute action thriller starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman, directed by Renny Harlin.

Collider has exclusively debuted a clip from "The Beast," an upcoming action thriller starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman. The film is directed by Renny Harlin, known for "Die Hard 2" and the Jackson collaboration "The Long Kiss Goodnight." Umair Aleem wrote the script.
The clip shows a nighttime chase. Jackson plays the president of the United States. Kinnaman plays a Secret Service agent who is injured in an attack. A militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup, forcing the president to drive the presidential limousine. The car, called The Beast, has highly classified offensive capabilities. Jackson uses them to save his agent, reunite with his wife, and stop the threat.
In the sequence, Kinnaman hangs through an open rear door while Jackson drives. A pursuing vehicle stays close. Gunfire pounds the limo. Kinnaman grabs grenades from a masked attacker's vest and pulls the pins before kicking him out of the moving car. After the fight, Kinnaman slumps in the back seat with blood on his face and shirt. Jackson checks on him from the front.
Harlin has experience with confined action. The clip keeps most of the trouble inside a single moving car. "The Beast" opens in theaters October 9 and runs 99 minutes. Collider reported the details.
