The Witcher Audiobooks Recast Geralt, Release in Story Order
Collider reports a chronological full-cast audio edition of Sapkowski's books, starting with Crossroads of Ravens.

Collider reports Netflix's The Witcher will end with Season 5 in 2027, after a delay. Meanwhile, the story is getting a new telling from Orbit: full-cast audiobooks of Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, released in chronological order rather than the books' publication order.
The first title is Crossroads of Ravens, which follows an 18-year-old Geralt in his early Witcher days. It is the only audiobook available for preorder right now. The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are expected in November, with more titles to follow in 2027.
The cast brings fresh voices to the saga. Collider names Sam Stafford, of Vikings: Valhalla, as Geralt. Richard Armitage plays Preston Holt, Clare Corbett is Nenneke, and Tom Alexander is Artamon of Asguth. Peter Kenny, who narrated previous Witcher audiobooks, returns as narrator.
According to Collider, the audiobooks stick to the source material, so they avoid the changes Netflix made in adapting the story. That may please fans who found the series' alterations frustrating. The production also joins a growing trend of full-cast audio, alongside examples like GraphicAudio's Fourth Wing and Audible's Harry Potter.
For newcomers who only know the Netflix show, this chronological audio edition is a faithful route into the books. For readers who already own them, it offers a different performance, with actors bringing their own interpretations to Sapkowski's characters. Either way, the series isn't ending so much as it is being retold.
