Tulsa King Season 5 Renewed, Moving to New York
Paramount+ has officially ordered a fifth season of Taylor Sheridan's mob drama, with a major filming location shift for Dwight Manfredi's story.

Just over a week before the season 4 premiere, Paramount+ has confirmed that Tulsa King will return for a fifth season. Reported by Screen Rant, the renewal comes with a big change: the series is moving its filming base from Atlanta to New York, with production already underway.
Alongside the location switch, the cast is expanding. Scarlet Rose Stallone has been promoted to series regular for season 5. Four new actors are joining as series regulars: Erik Palladino (I Play Rocky), Glenn Fleshler (Billions), Anthony Skordi (The Last Frontier), and Nickola Shreli (Power Book IV: Force).
The early renewal is a sign of confidence from the streamer, especially after Tulsa King's rocky behind-the-scenes history. Seasons 3 and 4 saw showrunner Terence Winter depart multiple times, with replacement Dave Erickson also leaving mid-season 4 production — reportedly over creative differences with Sheridan. Winter did return for season 4 as head writer, and the season 5 announcement keeps him in that role while also listing him as an executive producer.
"We are thrilled to bring fans even more of this incredible series, and to be shooting the next season of Tulsa King in New York, where Dwight Manfredi's story will continue to evolve," said Drew Brown, EVP of Physical Production at Paramount Television Studios, in a statement.
Sheridan is said to have a six-season plan for the series, so the early pickup suggests Paramount+ is fully committed to seeing that vision through. The move to New York also raises questions about where season 4 leaves Sylvester Stallone's Dwight. After three seasons of building his own operation in Oklahoma, a return to the Big Apple could mean his empire faces a major shakeup — or that he's being pulled back into the old life. Plenty of theory fodder for the garage wall.
Tulsa King season 4 premieres on Paramount+ on October 16.
