‘VisionQuest’ Showrunner Calls T'Nia Miller’s Performance “Chilling”
In an exclusive preview, Terry Matalas teases a standout turn from Miller as Jocasta in the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series.

Collider reports that Marvel’s next Disney+ series, *VisionQuest*, has a secret weapon: T'Nia Miller. Showrunner Terry Matalas told Collider that the *The Haunting of Bly Manor* actor delivers a performance he describes as “chilling, nuanced and even a little heartbreaking.”
Miller plays Jocasta, a character Marvel has kept largely out of the show’s promotional materials. Matalas said the decision to hold back was intentional because “T'Nia's performance is revelatory.”
The series stars Paul Bettany as White Vision, years after the events of *WandaVision*, as he tries to piece together his memories and reconnect with his past. James Spader returns as Ultron in both human and AI form, marking his first MCU appearance since 2015’s *Avengers: Age of Ultron*.
*VisionQuest* is the third chapter in a mini-saga that began with *WandaVision* and continued with *Agatha All Along*. Additional cast includes Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as Friday, and Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff. There is no word yet on whether Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch.
The series premieres October 14 on Disney+. Marvel has had a strong 2026 so far: *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* crossed $2.5 billion globally, while *X-Men ‘97* and *Daredevil: Born Again* have been renewed. The only new Marvel Disney+ show this year before *VisionQuest* was *Wonder Man*, which was initially renewed for a second season before being canceled.
