Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1 sets March 2027 release
The long-delayed comic relaunch finally has a date, and it's bringing more pages for the same price.

Worth the wait. Screen Rant reports that Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1 finally has a release date: March 10, 2027, from Dynamite Entertainment. The series was originally due this fall, but writer Kelly Thompson and Dynamite stepped back after the story evolved.
The issue will have 35 story pages, 48 pages total, and still cost $4.99. That's more pages for the standard price, which makes it a strong buy for fans.
Thompson is writing, with art by Stephen Byrne, colors by Lee Loughridge and letters by Jeff Eckleberry. Screen Rant says the creative team wanted it done right and not rushed.
A companion Angel series also arrives in March, with 32 story pages and a 48-page physical issue.
If you liked the original show, this is the creative team you want. Mark the date.
