Reba McEntire and James Denton share the screen again in the new Season 3 trailer for NBC's *Happy's Place*, released this week. The two actors last worked together two decades ago on the WB sitcom *Reba*, where Denton played a love interest for McEntire's character.

The trailer shows Denton as JB, a handsome newcomer who arrives at the tavern and catches the attention of both Bobbie (McEntire) and Gabby (Melissa Peterman). TVLine exclusively reported in September that Denton had joined the cast. The clip indicates JB chooses to pursue Bobbie, which could complicate her relationship with Emmett (Rex Linn).

Season 3 picks up after Bobbie and Emmett's breakup, with the two navigating being friends. Elsewhere, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) opens a speakeasy, Gabby adjusts to living with her mother Val (returning guest star Jane Lynch), Steve (Pablo Castelblanco) works on not hiding behind his OCD, and Takoda (Tokala Black Elk) faces challenges that shift how others at the bar see him. Justina Machado also returns as Isabella's mother Maritza.

*Happy's Place* Season 3 premieres Friday, Oct. 23 at 8/7c on NBC. The comedy will now lead into the network's new series *Newlyweds*, starring Tim Daly and Téa Leoni.
