Legends & Lattes Graphic Novel Out Now, Travis Baldree Shares Exclusive Details
In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, the author opens up about the adaptation process and why fans will love this new version of the cozy fantasy.

Legends & Lattes: The Graphic Novel is out now, adapting Travis Baldree's story with full-color art. Published by Ten Speed Graphic, the adaptation is by Samuel Sattin with art by Shanti Rittgers and Sarah Webb. The original novel has sold more than one million copies.
In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Baldree said the graphic novel became more collaborative than he expected. He helped select artists, consulted on character designs, and reviewed the adaptation. "It was definitely not on my life's bingo card," he told the outlet.
The hardest part was deciding what to cut. The team worked to preserve the plot, character moments, and the story's atmosphere while reducing the book to essential words and images.
Baldree also shared which characters he thinks will leave a strong impression. He pointed to Thimble and Amity, whose visual looks he was especially excited for readers to see.
"People who love the book will absolutely love this experience as well," he said.
The graphic novel's release is another sign, Baldree says, that readers continue to want kind, caring fantasy stories that leave them feeling better. Legends & Lattes: The Graphic Novel is available now wherever books are sold.
