Collider reports that Robert Eggers' folk horror debut "The Witch" is on Prime Video this week. Set in 1630s New England, it follows a Puritan family whose eldest daughter (Anya Taylor-Joy in her film debut) is suspected of witchcraft. Collider notes the film's grim atmosphere and historical detail made it one of the best horror films of the 2010s.

"American Fiction," Cord Jefferson's directorial debut starring Jeffrey Wright, is also streaming now according to Collider. Wright plays a novelist whose satire of Black literature stereotypes is mistaken for the real thing, leading to unexpected fame. Collider says the film won Jefferson an Oscar for its screenplay, and Wright's lead performance is widely considered his best.

Collider highlights "John Wick" as well, the first installment in Chad Stahelski's action franchise. Keanu Reeves stars as a retired assassin who returns to violence after a gangster kills his dog and steals his car. Collider notes the film's gun-fu and wide-angle choreography made it a modern classic and revitalized Reeves' action career.
If you liked "The Northman," "Sorry to Bother You," or "Nobody," these three are worth your time this week.
