Spider-Man: Brand New Day Takes #1 on Apple TV
Screen Rant reports the MCU sequel hit No. 1 on the Apple TV store in the U.S. days after its Oct. 6 VOD release.

Screen Rant reports that Spider-Man: Brand New Day has reached No. 1 on the Apple TV store in the United States, days after its VOD release on Oct. 6.
The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, opened in theaters in summer 2026 after years in development. The MCU story follows Peter Parker on his own, balancing his new life as a superhero while his powers change.
According to Screen Rant, the movie also hit No. 1 in Italy, Japan, Spain, Germany and England, among other markets. It is at No. 2 in Bahrain, Austria and Saudi Arabia, and at No. 3 in Mexico, Ireland and Brazil.
The film is heading back to theaters with additional footage not in the original cut. Screen Rant notes the new version could include Rosario Dawson's return as Claire Temple, adding another Marvel-Netflix character to the movie. Jon Bernthal already brought Frank Castle to the big screen in The Punisher: One Last Kill.
The physical release is set for Tuesday, Dec. 15 on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, just days before Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters. Screen Rant calls Brand New Day the highest-grossing film of 2026, with strong reviews behind it.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is available now on VOD.
