6 X-Men Villains the MCU Could Introduce (and One Already Cast)
Screen Rant breaks down the mutant bad guys who haven't made it to the big screen yet, from Avalanche to Sauron.

Marvel's X-Men movie is set for a 2028 release, and Screen Rant reports that Adam Driver has been cast as Mister Sinister — the biggest X-Men villain never used in live action. But he's not the only one. The outlet lists six more major villains who have been skipped by every previous X-Men movie or show.
**Avalanche** This Brotherhood of Evil Mutants member can create earthquakes with his hands. Screen Rant notes that while Fox's original X-Men trilogy used Magneto, Mystique, Toad, Pyro and Juggernaut, they never touched Avalanche. His seismic powers could make for a thrilling fight scene.
**Arcade** Arcade doesn't just kill — he traps his targets in a theme park called Murderworld. The concept has been used in comics and cartoons, but never in live action. Screen Rant compares his potential arc to *The Most Dangerous Game* or *The Running Man*, with Arcade as a secondary villain the heroes have to escape before facing the main threat.
**Exodus** This 12th-century French mutant was transformed by Apocalypse. Screen Rant points out his comic-book history with Black Knight (Kit Harington's character from *Eternals*), which could set up a future Apocalypse storyline. Exodus has main villain potential — a battle with him could lead to an even bigger showdown with Apocalypse.
**Mojo** The grotesque ruler of the Mojoverse runs gladiator games in a strange dimension. Mojo has appeared in video games and *X-Men '97*, but never in movies. Screen Rant suggests a full Mojoverse film or series would do justice to his rivalry with Longshot. It's probably not happening in the first MCU X-Men movie, but a sequel or spinoff could go there.
**Deathbird** The Shi'ar Empire hasn't appeared in the MCU yet — and that's a good thing, says Screen Rant, because it keeps their best stories for the X-Men. Deathbird is a mutant member of the Shi'ar and a longtime enemy of the X-Men. She also has a rivalry with Captain Marvel, which could tie into Rogue's connection to Carol Danvers.
**Sauron** The Savage Land — that dinosaur-filled region in Antarctica — was teased in *Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness*. Screen Rant notes that the X-Men first visited it in a 1965 comic, and its self-appointed protector is Ka-Zar. But the real villain there is Sauron, a scientist who turned himself into a pterodactyl-like monster. A Savage Land-based X-Men movie would finally bring him to life.
All six villains are waiting for their moment. With Mister Sinister already cast, the MCU's X-Men are about to face a whole new rogues' gallery.
